Do you ever wish that life was like the fairy tales where you could just wave your magic wand and life would just immediately get better? The laundry would magically wash, dry, fold, and be put away with one swoop of the wand. Your entire house would be cleaned from top to bottom with one wave of the wand. What if that wand could bring healing to a broken heart or restoration to a broken family? What if one wave of that wand could take a hopeless situation and turn it completely around?
Well, the bad news is that there’s no magic wand that will do those kind of things. We don’t live our lives in a fairy tale and we can’t change our lives with a wave of the wand. But the good news is that even in the most difficult situation, there is HOPE through Jesus Christ.
Hope is the theme for the 2012 Refresh Conference. The conference will be held Friday and Saturday, January 27 and 28 at GT Church in Decatur, IL. Here’s just a brief glimpse into what will be happening at this years’ conference.
Main Sessions – Friday night & Saturday morning

ife is like the laundry. If we don’t stay on top of it, it piles up quickly. Instead of taking time to sort it out, we toss everything in the wash. The next thing we know is our washer (life) is overloaded and out of balance. This session will help you step back, reevaluate and prioritize to live the abundant life that God has promised.
Me and My Big Mouth – Caitlin Nielsen

Does it ever seem like your mouth is busy all the time telling you about all the problems in your life? Does your mouth quickly spit things out before you even have time to process what you’re saying? Come learn some principles from Joyce Meyers book "Me and my big mouth" that will train our mouths to speak words that encourage us and those around us!
