Join the GT Church family in celebrating Christmas Eve! Our Christmas Eve services will be at 6 and 9 p.m. on Sunday, December 24, 2017. There will be incredible music, a story for the kids, and a dramatized Christmas message sure to inspire you. Make GT Church a part of your Christmas tradition and join us on Christmas Eve at 6 and 9 p.m.
Part of celebrating Christmas at GT is receiving our annual Christmas Offering. This Christmas, we are asking you to make Jesus the top priority in your gift giving. Please consider giving a special offering over and above what you normally give. This will greatly help us continue to be the light God calls us to be in our community. Here are three projects your Christmas offering will fund:
- Benevolence Ministry — Directly meeting the needs of many hurting people in our church family.
- GT Food Pantry — Restocking our food pantry shelves so we can continue to feed the hungry in our GT Church family.
- Church Building — Continuing to be good stewards of this beautiful property God has given us by taking care of the unexpected maintenance issues we have encountered this year.
It’s amazing what God can do when we all give our part! Our special Christmas Offering collection will take place during all three of our services (8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.) on Sunday, December 17. If you would prefer to give online, just designate your gift “Christmas Offering”.
Due to the many recent disasters our country has experienced, plus other tragic events, blood donations are in great need. GT Church will be giving back and hosting the American Red Cross Holiday Blood Drive on Thursday, December 14 from Noon to 6:00 PM. Our goal is to collect 50 units of blood in six hours! We can do this! Signing up to give blood is now easier than ever! Click on this link and choose a time to donate! Please share with your friends in the Greater Decatur Area! If you would like to volunteer at the blood drive in registration or in the canteen, please email Pastor Beth at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Ladies, we’ve all been there. That place where you feel like you’re about to be overwhelmed by life’s circumstances. Where you have received a bad report from the doctor. Where you don’t know what your next step is in your job. Where you are at a loss for how to parent your kids. Where you have to keep telling yourself, “don’t fall apart.”
Invest in growing your faith and relationships at the “Don’t Fall Apart” women’s dinner on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. The event starts at 6:30 P.M. and GT’s own Diva Samuels will bring an encouraging message, along with fun and, of course, food!
Tickets are $10 and there are discounts for bringing your friends! You can purchase tickets at the Info Center or on the church website.
If you are graduating from high school or college this year, we would love to include you in our graduate recognition on Sunday, May 28, 2017. Please fill out the form on the attached link and send in pictures of the graduate to be included in our slideshow.
